The 2024 Scottsdale Auction by Barrett-Jackson commenced with a weeklong event featuring a variety of vehicles, ranging from lower-priced cars at the start of the week to high-end auctions on Friday and Saturday, where cars fetched hundreds of thousands of dollars. Monday’s auction featured over 120 vehicles, spanning automotive history from a 1928 Ford Model A custom coupe to a modern 2010 Porsche Panamera S.

The Automobilia Auction, starting on Monday, saw notable sales, including a 1930s Ford Automobiles neon porcelain sign sold for $33,350 and a 1930s Texaco Marine Products porcelain with neon sign fetching $32,200.

In a significant announcement, Barrett-Jackson revealed plans for a second annual auction event in Scottsdale in the fall of 2024. Taking place from Oct. 10 to Oct. 14 at WestWorld of Scottsdale, the fall event aims to introduce new entertainment and lifestyle elements, building excitement for the signature Scottsdale Auction in January. Barrett-Jackson, headquartered in Scottsdale, looks forward to establishing the city as a year-round epicenter for collector cars in 2024, responding to positive feedback and customer preferences.
